Dave Schneider started blogger and influencer outreach SaaS Ninja Outreach in 2014, 12 months later they hit $10k MRR and are now north of $60k.

Completely bootstrapped.

How?

This posts explains...

Writing blog posts in 2019 will get you nowhere.

Writing blog posts that REALLY solve a problem or REALLY entertain your target market in 2019 will get you somewhere.

Writing blog posts that solve a problem, entertain your target market AND collate opinions from 10 key influencers in your industry, will get you far.

Dave understands this...

Here's an example:

This post includes insights from 16 top influencers in NO's space (influencer/blogger outreach) and depending on how effective Dave's outreach was... could significantly increase the potential audience of the content.

On the go-live date, Dave would have reached out to all 16 influencers requesting a social share, comment and maybe even inclusion into an email to their lists.

Exposing each of their audiences to the content and crucially: Ninja Outreach, essentially getting other people to write his content whilst getting access to their audience.

Though this strategy is not just confined to written content:

With a stunning 1.2 billion views on YouTube and featuring literally everybody, "I’m The One"is one of Dj Khaled’s true masterpieces.

- Quavo: 2.3 million Twitter followers
- Chance The Rapper: 8.2m
- Lil Wayne: 34.2m
- Justin Beiber: 106m

Khaled has a measly 4.49m Twitter followers, he 33x'd the potential Twitter exposure of "I'm The One" through collaborations.

Does this strategy scale?

Check out the volume of collaborations in Khaled's album history:

Though the monetization strategies may differ, there is very little difference between Dave's: "16 Marketing Experts Share the Metrics They're Emphasizing in 2018" and Khaled's "I'm The One".

People are far more likely to give you exposure to their audience if you make them look good...

So...

1. Find influencers in your space
2. Choose an interesting topic that REALLY informs and entertains your target audience
3. Get their input
4. Collate and publish the content
5. Get them to share
